Recreational runners, runners in pairs and relay teams of educational institutions, sports clubs and corporations

Distance: cca 60 km

Course map

Zalaegerszeg – Csács –Nemesapáti – Gyűrűs– Kallósd – Zala Golf Resort – Nemesbük- Egregy - Hévíz – Keszthely (Hungary)

Start: Göcsej Village Museum, Zalaegerszeg,    

Finish: Keszthely, Fő tér

Mile markers: Distance covered will be displayed at each aid station and relay spot

Aid stations will offer water, fruits, cereal bars, and chocolate chunks.

Individual runners are recommended to carry their own water bottle along the way.

Teams: Two up to ten people

Awards: The top three teams and the top three male and female finishers will be awarded. The school with the most participants will get a special award.

Rules

  • Runners participate at their own risk.
  • Entries are valid with the submission of the entry form and transfer of the full entry fee.
  • To qualify for the finisher's certificate, runners must complete the whole distance of the course on foot.
  • Carrying a water bottle is strongly recommended in hot and humid weather.
  • Running with Mp3 players iPods and other music players is strictly banned on the roads. Listening to the song of birds or the wind is recommended instead.
  • Private support vehicles are not allowed to assist the runners continuously.
  • Runners are not allowed to litter along the route, except for the area of aid stations.
  • For individual runners, race numbers must be worn on the front .
  • Urinating or defecating anywhere on or near the course in towns and villages shall be strictly prohibited except in toilet facilities.
  • All runners must respect the existing road traffic rules and regulations.
  • Failing to run the designated course by taking short cuts, riding in a motor vehicle or any other means of transportation automatically leads to disqualification.

If you cannot make it to Zalaegerszeg but would like to express your solidarity by running with us in your hometown, a personalized certificate will be sent to you.
